His exceptional dedication to his work is evident through his role in overseeing the state-administered GEDby2023 initiative. This program, now extended to September 2024, aims to increase GED completions across South Carolina by partnering with local technical colleges and adult education centers. Under William’s leadership, the initiative has seen approximately 90 referrals, and 40 students enrolled, showcasing his ability to significantly impact educational access and success.

In his role as the liaison for the Presidential Scholars Honors Program, William has excelled in recruiting high-achieving high school graduates. His role as a member for the Carolinas Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO) and his involvement with South Carolina Educational Opportunities (EDOP) Week underscore his dedication to enhancing higher education accessibility. His efforts in coordinating college fairs and educational events highlight his strategic vision and dedication to providing students with valuable opportunities.

William's leadership is also reflected in his active participation on various committees and councils. As co-chair for the Workforce Development and Education Committee for the Black Economic Leadership League (B.E.L.L) of Rock Hill, he has been instrumental in organizing the annual High School Workforce and Education Expo.
