Since joining First Bank in 2021, Christa has proven herself not only as a dedicated financial professional but also as a passionate advocate for community service and education. Her commitment to both her role and her community has made her a standout figure in the financial sector.

In 2023 Christa helped the Rock Hill branch of First Bank exceed several of their goals, including increasing their customer base! Christa is a proponent of First Bank’s Power of Good initiatives and is sure to explain all of the efforts of her, her branch, and the bank as a whole to her customers, so they can be proud of who they bank with and be inspired to do the same.

Christa’s role as the Financial Wellness Ambassador for her region has allowed her to make a substantial impact. By conducting financial seminars for local businesses and schools, she has been instrumental in helping individuals and organizations navigate their financial journeys. Her sessions cover essential topics such as budgeting, saving, and banking, and are tailored to meet the needs of diverse audiences. In 2023 alone, she educated 60 fifth graders at Riverwalk Academy, imparting foundational financial knowledge that will benefit them for years to come.

Christa’s commitment to making a difference extends beyond her professional life. She dedicates several hours each week to teaching English as a second language at a local church, working with students ranging from ages 15 to 70. Her classes cover practical English skills that help her students navigate daily life, from job applications to doctor’s visits and opening bank accounts. The guidance and support she provides are invaluable, helping her students gain independence and strive for a better future.
