"The workforce challenges are varied and complex, defying easy solutions."
"The key to hiring and retention is making sure you have the right people with the right skill set at the right time."
Challenges to Hiring and Retention
Regardless of their size or industry, employers are facing similar challenges to hiring and retention. The most common include small applicant pools, the "Silver Tsunami" of retiring Baby Boomers, the difficulty of finding candidates with the right skills for the job, and the prevalence of alternate career paths that compete for top talent. These challenges require employers to be creative and proactive in their recruitment and retention strategies. The Chamber can help with that!
